Payment of Court Fees Notice – Central Office of the High Court

The attention of practitioners is drawn to the provisions of Order 117a Rule 3(1)(b) of the Rules of the Superior Courts.

As and from the 22nd day of October 2021 cheques or postal orders will no longer be accepted by the Central Office with documents lodged by way of non personal delivery under Order 117a RSC. 

Save and except in the case of a Defendant desiring to enter an appearance in person under Order 12 Rule 4 RSC the entire application will be returned until payment of the applicable court fee is recorded by means of a stamp impressed on the court document or by another means for the time being authorised by law for the recording of the payment of a court fee.
